Welcome to the Microjob Terms and Policies Glossary page. This document is an integral part of the Microjob Terms and Policies, and a list of the meanings of the words and expressions beginning with capital letters in Microjoob’s Terms and Policies.

 

DEFINITIONS AND MEANINGS

Under Microjoob’s Terms and Policies, the following definitions are used, both in the plural and singular:

 

  1. MJE: acronym for Microjob Empreendimentos, Lda (a private legal entity, the sole and exclusive owner of MICROJOOB)
  2. Microjob Empreendimentos, Lda: entity holding all rights to MICROJOOB
  3. MICROJOOB: the set of all services provided by MJE, which may include websites, domains, subdomains, subdirectories, mobile applications, APIs, emails, and other online products and services available from and derived from the microjoob.com domain
  4. Microjoob: a platform provided by MJE through the microjoob.com domain and/or other means, consisting of a Remote Work Management System developed with the goal of creating a dynamic and flexible Virtual Work Environment, allowing any professional and/or business owner to work remotely without sacrificing productivity and quality of life
  5. Affiliate: a user enrolled in the Microjoob Affiliate Program, who promotes Microjoob in exchange for remuneration equivalent to a percentage of the value of each subscription purchased through their referral
  6. Collaborators and other Users: individuals who are interested in working for or providing services to a company registered with Microjoob. These may include employees, clients, suppliers, and other collaborators and partners of the company registered with Microjoob
  7. Contract: the act of accepting Microjoob’s Terms and Policies by users, which governs their access to and use of Microjoob and its resources and functionalities
  8. Registration data: This includes information such as affiliation, contact details, address, and personal details, understood as the user’s name, surname, marital status, profession, and other similar information
  9. Dashboard: area through which companies manage their ventures
  10. Microjoob Terms and Policies: This is the set of all policies, rules, and regulations of Microjoob
  11. Add-ons: premium add-ons that companies can purchase to utilize their functionalities in managing their businesses within Microjoob
  12. Third-party services: websites , applications, or resources that do not belong to MJE but are made available to Users through Microjoob
  13. Commission Fee: The fee that the Affiliate receives for each referral made through their Affiliate Link
  14. Natural person: a human being as an individual
  15. Legal entity: an entity duly constituted by the competent authorities, assuming the status of a company
  16. Personal data: any information that identifies the user or makes it possible to identify them. Examples of personal data include: name, address, email, identity documents in general, telephone number, access logs (date and time of Microjoob use, IP address used for access), among others
  17. Corporate data: any information entered, processed, or generated on Microjoob by companies registered there
  18. User Account: This refers to the user data that is essential for using Microjoob’s features and functionalities
  19. Terms: Microjoob’s Terms and Policies
  20. User: Anyone who accesses or uses Microjoob, regardless of whether or not they have an Account
  21. Client: The individual or legal entity that contracts the services or purchases the products of a company registered with Microjoob. The word can also be used as a synonym for Buyer
  22. Force majeure: is defined as any circumstance beyond the control of MJE Users and Collaborators that permanently or temporarily prevents compliance with these Terms
  23. Cookies: These are small files (usually containing text) that are stored on a specific access device to record preferences and other information
  24. Data Processing Agents: agents responsible for processing Personal Data
  25. Consent: a free, informed, and unequivocal expression of agreement by which the User agrees to a specific matter involving their registration data and/or personal data
  26. Device: any electronic device used by the User to access Microjoob, such as desktop computers, laptops, cell phones, tablets, smartphones and/or other devices connected to the internet
  27. Account Holder: User responsible for a specific account, contract, or document
  28. Processing: any operation performed with the personal data of Microjoob Users. That is, it is the collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, storage, archiving, elimination, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction of this personal data
  29. Access credentials: login information provided by the Administrator User to their Collaborators and other Users of the company registered with Microjoob. This is a way to control who can access certain information or functionalities within a company registered with Microjoob. These credentials are essential to guarantee the security and privacy of data, allowing only authorized users to access certain areas of the company
  30. Login Data: Login information for the Administrator of a company registered on Microjoob
  31. Workspace: a space that allows professionals from diverse work segments to carry out their work demands in a completely digital and remote way. This space is essential to support companies that intend to work with Microjoob
  32. Applicable legislation: refers to the laws and other legal norms that are relevant to a specific case or situation, and that must be observed by the parties involved
  33. User Account Suspension: refers to the temporary deactivation of a user’s account initiated by MJE
  34. User Account Closure: This refers to the process of permanently removing a user’s account from the Microjoob database, which can be initiated by the user or by MJE
  35. Campany Account: refers to a Microjoob subscription that a User can purchase while managing their business within Microjoob
  36. Corporate Account: This is an expression used synonymously with Company Account.
  37. Administrator: This user is responsible for managing the Corporate Account. They are responsible for registering a company with Microjoob and maintaining its administration in accordance with Microjoob’s Terms and Policies

 

Regarding other expressions used in Microjoob Terms and Policies and not included in this Glossary, their conventional meaning is understood using official grammatical rules.
